A JAE India pultrusion line is a complete, integrated manufacturing system. Each stage is independently engineered for precision and throughput.
Holds glass fibre bobbins and controls fibre tension uniformly across all rovings. Consistent tension at the creel is the first variable that determines final rod strength and dimensional uniformity.
Aligns fibres precisely before they enter the resin impregnation bath. Correct alignment prevents fibre misalignment and eliminates the weak points that cause rod failure under load.
The wet-out station where fibres are saturated with resin. JAE India lines are compatible with epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resin systems. Resin type is selected based on your end application — optical fibre strength member, construction rebar, insulation rod, or structural profile. Critical for mechanical strength and dielectric performance.
Shapes the impregnated fibre bundle into the required cross-section before it enters the die. Ensures uniform resin distribution across the profile and maintains dimensional accuracy through the curing stage.
The core of the production line. The heated die controls final rod diameter, surface quality, and mechanical properties through precision temperature management. JAE India manufactures all dies in-house to customer-specified dimensions — rod diameters from 0.5 mm to 25 mm and above.
Servo-controlled continuous pulling of the cured rod at consistent speed. Puller speed directly determines production output rate and surface finish quality. JAE India systems use dual-grip caterpillar pullers for consistent tension without surface damage.
Advanced line configurations include UV or supplementary thermal curing to improve polymer cross-linking and enhance mechanical properties. Particularly specified for high-performance optical fibre strength members and power sector insulation rods.
Stabilises rod dimensions post-die exit. Controlled cooling prevents warping, reduces internal stress, and ensures dimensional tolerance is maintained across the full production run.
Final packaging stage. Rod is spooled onto reels for direct use in cable stranding equipment, or cut to straight lengths as per customer specification. Custom reel dimensions and cut lengths available.
